The Music of the Night

My beautiful cousin Annabelle got to take a European trip for her high school graduation present. She started off in London and then I picked her up in Paris and we spent the weekend there! I gotta say- driving into Paris is always spectacular-

We had an amazing time hitting all the highlights as this was her first time in Paris- I'm not complaining because I love it there!

This girl is so lucky! It was a Friday night and therefore she got into the Louvre for free and it was practically empty!! We got to amble along alone and see all the treasures to ourselves!

This shadow really creeped me out- I mean how can this happen:

We ended the day at my favourite place- L'áduree, my favourite nighttime pitstop- we got to sit at the beautiful bar and ordered tea and macaroons from very skinny, slightly rude waiters- so chic, so Parisian.

The next day it was Annabelle's dream to go to the Opera House, Opera Garnier. I must admit, of all my trips to Paris, I never stopped there or really thought it was a destination on my list. However, I am so thankful she took me because it was breathtaking!!

And yes- this is where the famous Phantom of the Opera takes place, and they have his preferred box still marked out and reserved- don't want him getting upset..
