Paris, avec Mon Ami- Le premiere Jour

I only had about two weeks to recover from my first vacation, before my best friend from UT, Youn, came to visit. Actually, she met me in Paris- which is just so amazing that it was only an hour away from me!

When we arrived our hotel was having technical issues and they sent us to their partner hotel right on the Champs-Elysses. As our taxi driver was driving us there we started seeing gold-edged buildings...And then we saw the eiffel tower to our left and started shouting "It's so beautiful! It's so beautiful!!" Our taxi driver thought we were insane.

Seeing as Youn was jet lagged I suggested we walk down and have lunch on the Champs-Elysses which had the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the street. But once we ate our quiche and beef bourginon... and saw the Arc (we were ALL ABOUT the Arc...) the excitement was too much and we just had to go to the Eiffel tower.. we ate crepes there, took the ride up to the top, had an amazing pizza dinner and stayed out MUCH LATER than intended..
