Beer Country

You guys must know by now that I LOVE Germany. I have been lucky to go there several times, experience Oktoberfest, and see so many amazing things. I advised my Aunt and Uncle to go there when they came and they loved it as well... i guess there is just something about that place.

Well, in order to take both my mom and Sally and Susan to a place they had never been, I suggested that we visit Munich. Berlin and Cologne are still on my list, but when i was at Oktoberfest i just felt so drawn to the city that i wanted to explore it.

We started out eating at this "authentic German restaurant" can you say PRETZELS PRETZELS SAUSAGE SAUSAGE and BEER?? Everywhere!!! Oh and this very strange white/brown "ham" that Sally got taht was not very appeasing. then we started by exploring the Marienplatz, and finished off at the Hofbrauhaus. But by that time...we could barely handle more pretzels, especially with the beer (that you absolutely must have).

The next day we took at Hop On/Hop Off bus and explored the city, stopping for a while at King Ludwigs' summer palace. We also passed the Olympic center, and the BMW headquarters. We also spent some time searching for the most epic of Coo-coo clocks that my mom and Susan both bought (i bought one too... but it is not "authentic" haha... it shall not be named)...
