BFF visit :)

One of my lifelong best friends came to visit! It was so cool to have a visitor and it still feels like old times :)

Entertaining

I've enjoyed cooking, although I don't do it as often as I should and I've done my fair share of entertaining :) 

This has led to my first lasagna and my first try at making Colombian empanadas which were both a hit! I even made some delicious guacamole!

Best kept secret

I met two lovely girls via my friend Lindsay who studied abroad and met them while backpacking across South America! They were nice enough to let me join for my first camping music festival! We camped for three days int he cold and rainy Dutch weather but I had a blast!

These were the tents! There were I think 15,000 people there! It was a campsite in the south of holland. The festival was laid out like ACL with three stages and a fourth area for dancing. 

The food was incredible, I tried Indonesian, bratwurst, fries of course, kip salon-- a Dutch dish meaning hair cut lol that is a mix of fries and veggies and chicken, I guess burrito bowl meets frito pie.

Busy bee

It's been a while since I update my blog! A lot has happened, I went to my first music festival in the rain! Camping! I've made several new friends, even had my first Dutch party! I will try to blog every once in a while and thanks to everyone that is following my Dutch adventures and asking about me! I love and miss all of you!!
