Zondag - Day 1

Well it's hard to believe that I'm here now. It's funny walking through the grocery store, Albert Heijn, and seeing stuff like Ben and Jerry's and being shocked when I see things like sunscreen! Lol this isn't a third world country!!! I did pass up on the boys and opted for these waffle things-- stroopwafels. 

Today, we went to the Grote Mkt which is in the centrum of Haarlem. Lots of cute shops and restaurants. 

 

Stopped here for our first Dutch dish, bitterballen! Complete with wine, coffee and a tiny portion of coke! 

And of course we had to stop and take pics by the canals and beautiful European sights! So glad to have my mom here on Mother's Day 2013!!
