Scarves

Halo!

Man today was a day full of shopping and new things. You'll notice a new addition to my wardrobe- a scarf... Scarves are all the rage here for Dutch men and women.. Some fabulous men have sported some fab scarves that I'd like too... 

 Yes you'll see some shopping bags there... Little ankle boots worn with skinny jeans and/ or leggings seem to be the standard uniform... Even my mom is now Dutch ---> 

I also got a bank account and prepaid phone card... It's amazing how many things you CANNOT get without a bank acct and or residency... I was all upset until I realized I just use my SSN in the USA... Amazing how much you take for granted. 

Conditioner--- another thing I take for granted. I don't know about this Dutch blind straight hair but my curly hair needs conditioner. If I didn't know French I wouldn't have found the only tiny bottle of 'après shampoo' at the grocery store!!! 

Btw I was so excited about having my Albert Heijn savings card that we have been to the grocery store everyday like the locals!! Today we saw our first 7 foot power couple.. They were gorgeous and looked like Giselle and brad pitt!!! The other Dutch folk looked just as impressed so I don't think I should be worried.
